Hairy Hiker no. 2 is coming back to England

On Monday, my 7 weeks in Sydney comes to an end as I jump on a Quantas jumbo jet and fly to London Heathrow. I will be hanging out in S.W london for 5 weeks to be near my Boyfriend Al. Looking forward to seeing him, going to Duke Street Evangelical (his church) and finishing off my Book.

Hoping the English Summer is going to be good!

Have enjoyed my time in Sydney and it has been useful to visit different churches and meet up with various church staff.

Made good progress on the book too which has been useful.

This is my final blog post - thanks to those who have been reading it.

Lots of love, Kay x

Winter weather

The weather in Sydney has been bad in the first week of June. It is officially winter but there has been an unusual amount of torrential rain most days and it comes down in sheets for a constant downpour, lasting 8-9 hours. So much for hanging out on the beach! Managed to catch a cold from being caught in the rain and spent a couple of days in bed.

Book writing is going well - managed to write a first draft of 6 chapters so far, there are 10 in total.

Enjoying visitng Sydney churches.
So far I have been to Barnabas Broadway, St Thomas, St. Andrews catherdral and Church by the bridge.Have had a few coffee dates with church staff - mainly women's workers.

If the rain has stopped on Saturday, I will attempt to do a costal walk from Bondi Beach to Cooggee Beach which takes about 3 hours.

Love to everyone, Kay
